Volunteers Are Vital!

Barn Beach Trust is the 501(c)(3) organization that governs and runs Barn Beach Reserve. We receive monetary support from foundation and government grants, and from individual donors. The Barn Beach Reserve Nature Center has a fulltime staff of only three: an executive director, education coordinator, and office manager/naturalist.

Our school programming requires a large cadre of dedicated adult volunteers in order to work effectively. These volunteers are essential in helping to deliver our unique experiential education curriculum to young people. In addition, volunteers help us with maintenance of the BBR buildings and grounds and with clerical tasks. We simply cannot do this important education and conservation work without the support of dozens of committed volunteers. Please consider joining our BBR team!
